DESCRIPTION
This is a support, empowerment, and leadership program available for free for youth, ages 10-17, who identify as LGBTQ+, immigrant, people of color, or allies interested in making new friends, discussing life issues and ideas that matter to them, learning the power of community, advocacy, and organizing, and creating change together.
POPULATIONS
This program was intentionally created for and with youth who are between the ages of 10 and 17, specifically for middle and high school students who are:
• LGBTQ+ children and teens of color
• Immigrant children and teens
• Kids and teens experiencing bullying in school
Although our focus populations are the communities mentioned above, please know that all middle and high school students are welcome! and the program has many members who identify as "allies" or "supporters" of the vulnerable populations that this program is tailored for.
