DESCRIPTION
This is a support, empowerment, and leadership program with a social justice lens available for free for youth, ages 10-17, who identify as LGBTQ+, immigrant, people of color, and/or straight allies interested in making new friends, discussing life issues and ideas that matter to them, learning about mental health, diversity, inclusion, the power of community, advocacy, organizing, and social justice. Let's create change together.
POPULATIONS
This program is designed for youth who are between the ages of 10 and 17, specifically for middle and high school students who are:
• LGBTQ+ youth of color and allies
• immigrant children and teens
• students experiencing bullying in school
Although our focus populations are the communities mentioned above, please know that all middle and high school students are welcome! We have members who identify as "allies" or "supporters".
